In these workshops, students give a short presentation of their doctoral thesis to an audience of teaching staff and other students (venues connected via computer link). The inter-university nature of the doctoral programme, with a large faculty of lecturers specialising in a wide range of subjects, provides a very interesting forum for debate in which synergies emerge between the research topics covered, and cross-curricular competencies (CB14, CB15 y CB16) are explored. Although only one session of this activity was organised in the 19/20 academic year, the positive feedback from students and teaching staff has led to the activity being rescheduled indefinitely from the 21/22 academic year onwards.
