isited women’s and youth associations engaged in organic agricultural production

Visit to UNILA

In February, Christian Domínguez and Miguel Ángel Martín López, project coordinator at the University of Seville, carried out a visit to UNILA (the University of Lampung) in Indonesia as part of the European Harvest project.

Together with the research team at UNILA, they visited women’s and youth associations engaged in organic agricultural production. The visit provided an opportunity to review the project’s results and to assess its impact on food security and peasants’ rights, particularly in areas severely affected by past tsunamis.
During their stay, several seminars were delivered on these topics, and meetings were also held with local authorities to explore potential future collaborations and new project initiatives.
