Days on hyperconductivity. Sevilla. A satellite seminar cycle

Opportunity:
Days on hyperconductivity. Sevilla. is a satellite seminar cycle, continuation of one of the topics of the conference NoLineal 2016: international conference on nonlinear mathematics and physics, These days will bring several international speakers,  both experimentalists and theoreticians. The frrst talks were are sponsored and administered by the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Sevilla (IMUS) and NoLineal 2016. Thereafter, they were funded by a variety of sources.

Hyperconductivity:
term that refers to the transport of charge by a nonlinear wave. One of its relevant characteristics is that charge speed depends weakly on the applied electric field, being largely determined by the nonlinearity of the lattice. Materials for which there is experimental and phenomenological evidence of hyperconductivity can be quite different, two main examples are mica muscovite and polydiacetlyene. A intriguing common property is the effective reduction in one dimension of the propagating media and the existence of a substrate potential due to the rest of the lattice. Experiments are underway in several places including Sevilla.
