MUSICIANS

The musicians who make up the orchestra are selected from among

-Students from other schools studying at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel Castillo

-Students of any undergraduate or postgraduate musical studies offered by the University of Seville.

-Students from other schools studying at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel Castillo

-Students of the University of Seville who pass the corresponding level tests.

-Reinforcement according to the needs of each program (exempt from the level test).

Given the academic nature of the orchestra, the selection as a musician of the orchestra does not entail any contractual or civil servant relationship, nor any remuneration from the University of Seville or the Manuel Castillo Conservatory of Music, except for professional reinforcements hired for this purpose.

Calls for placement tests are published sufficiently in advance on the bulletin board and on the web page of both institutions, and shall be open to all candidates who meet the admission requirements.

Both institutions jointly certify on an annual basis the collaboration of the participating musicians, from which the chief conductor selects the necessary personnel for each meeting or concert.
