Assessment
The academic committee of the PhD program will annually evaluate jointly the Research Plan (PI) and the Doctoral Student Activity Document (DAD), together with reports issued by the tutor and the thesis supervisor. In case of negative evaluation, which will be duly motivated, the PhD student must be evaluated within six months. In the event that the deficiencies continue to occur, the Academic Committee will issue a motivated report and the PhD student will be definitively withdrawn from the program.
- Research Plan (PI): during the first year, the PhD student will prepare a research plan, endorsed by the tutor and thesis supervisor, which will include at least the title of the thesis, the work methodology, the objectives and the planning to achieve them. This plan must be generated annually in order to be improved and detailed during the student’s stay in the PhD program.
- Doctoral Student Activity Document (DAD): this is the individualized record of all the training activities carried out by the PhD student in each academic year, during his/her stay in the program.
More information in Arts. 57 to 61 of the Regulations for Doctoral Studies (Agreement 6.1/CG 23-7-19).
The EIDUS Steering Committee will establish a call for the Joint Evaluation of the PI and DAD in each academic year.
