Andrea Kárpáti is and UNESCO Chairholder at the Institute for Communication and Sociology, Corvinus University Budapest. She is Head of the Visual Culture Research Group / Hungarian Academy of Science.
Her teaching and research activities involve visual culture of children and adolescents, digital literacy in education, museum learning and synergies of science and arts education. Recent projects: EU HORIZON2020 AMASS – Acting on the Margins: Arts as Social Sculpture, 2020-2023, Moholy-Nagy Visual Modules – Teaching the visual language of the 21th century, 2016-2021, EU-Comenius EnVIL: Developing the Common European Framework of Visual Literacy), 2014-16.
