Dr Attwell Mamvuto is a senior lecturer in the Department of Art Design and Technology Education and the University of Zimbabwe. He taught at Hillside Teachers College before joining the University of Zimbabwe in 2003. He currently teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (Art and design education as well as teacher education). He has been an external examiner to regional and local universities that include University of Namibia, University of South Africa, University of Botswana, National University of Science and Technology, Great Zimbabwe University, and Chinhoyi University of Technology. He is published in both local and international journals. He has been a visiting scholar to the University of Botswana and Chinhoyi University of Technology. His research interests include art pedagogy, assessment in art, the art curriculum, art and culture as well as teacher education.
