Christiana Deliewen Afrikaner is a Namibian who lives in Walvis Bay. She was a secondary school teacher until she was appointed as a Senior Education Officer under the Directorate of Arts until 2020. She obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Oporto, Portugal, in Arts Education. She contributed chapters in the following books: Learning through Art; Global Consciousness through the Arts: A Passport for Students and Teachers; Education beyond Crises. Chairperson of the Sub Saharan Africa Society for Education through Arts, president of the Africa Arts Association, and the Executive Director of EAT ARTS Training. She is currently working on community arts projects.
