Dr. Li-Yan Wang is a Professor and department chairperson of the Department of Fine Arts at National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan. Her research areas have focused on visual art education history, narrative analysis, and ways to facilitate cross-cultural understanding and dialogue through art. She has published various journal articles and books chapters, as well as presented in national and international conferences. She received National Changhua University of Education Distinguished Research Award in 2017 and Distinguished Awards for Advising Students in 2010 and 2015. She is currently the secretary of Asia Regional Council of InSEA (International Society for Education through Art) and an editorial/review board member of several journals.
