Mario Mogrovejo studied painting at the Escuela de Bellas Artes del Perú and at the Muthesius Hochschule, Kiel in Germany; Education at the USIL, Master in Documentary Photography at the Centro de la Imagen and is currently studying a Master in Visual Anthropology at the PUCP. He teaches Painting at ENSABAP. Member of the Consejo Latinoamericano por la educación por el Arte CLEA and World Council of InSEA for Peru and Latin America. His areas of research circulate in two different but linked fields: visual arts (with an interest in interculturality, migration and the profane, identity and symbolic games) and art education (focused on creative processes and research on forms of teaching/learning).
