The Proof of Concept of innovative use of salinity gradients applicable to seawater desalination by means of the so called counter-current flow RO module has been completed.

The following image shows the different sensors which are installed in the test rig and their values during an exemplary test.
Furthermore, before each test, the plant must be operated with freshwater (free of salts) to recheck the permeability of the membrane to ensure that the measured data is what it should be.
