iMAT’s training and recruiting strategy is aimed at providing excellent training instruments to pre and post-doc students in mathematical technology research, integrating the industrial applications and employment aspects. It is a combination of four key levers:

– International Doc-courses program with full funding.
– Promoting employability in industrial activities.
– Extensive participation in hiring funding opportunities.
Master and PhD programs
iMAT participates in four Master and two Doctorate programs dealing with modeling, methodological and analytical aspects of mathematical technology, supported by international and inter-university collaborations:
- Master in Mathematics (MUM), US
- Double Master MAES-MUM, US
- International Master Program ‘Mathematical Analysis and Modeling’, participated by Univ of Rouen-Normandy (France), Augsburg (Germany), Tomsk State Univ (Russia), Naples Federico II (Italy) and US. This master offer a combined M Sc degree by all the participating universities.
- Master’s Degree in Intelligent Energy and Transport Systems (SIET), offered by Univ of Malaga and Seville, within the framework of Campus International Excellence Andalucia Tech.
- Joint master in Mathematics of Univs. of Almería, Cádiz, Granada, Jaen and Málaga. Master program, PhD program.
- PhD program in Mathematics, US
PhD program in Electric Power Systems. Jointly offered by Univs. of Malaga, Seville, Basque Country and Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
