An automated pipeline routing system based on machine learning and mathematical programming

Abstract: The coordination and integration of installation layouts (pipes, conduits and electrical conduits) that make up the different decks of ships, is one of the jobs that requires the most effort and hours in the development of naval projects. In this project, a new product is developed to allow the optimization of the automatic routing of piping and canalization systems, mainly of ships. This product is capable, thanks to the development of complex mathematical models that will later be incorporated into the system through new algorithms, to propose optimal solutions to the designer. This new module would be used in a design project, and will allow a drastic reduction in ship engineering design hours, with the consequent reduction in construction times and delivery times.
