Interactions vesicles membranes and liquid crystals

Abstract: Interactions of liquid crystalline phases with vesicles membranes have been widely studied in recent times due to its connection with biological materials. We have introduced new model to represent vesicle membranes with internal nematic order. Moreover, efficient and stable numerical schemes are provided jointly with specific numerical simulations helping to understand the behaviour of these interactions.
