Abstract
This conference reviews the security of supplies, something critical and fundamental, especially considering the Ukraine war. After a winter with a significant supply risk for Europe, our reflection seeks solutions based on self-sufficiency where renewables and storage rely on the electrical vector as a future solution.
Biography
He is the General Director of Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta and Melilla of Endesa.
Doctor from the University of Seville in Computer Engineering, graduate in Business Sciences and MBA from the International Institute of San Telmo, its highest representative in the territory to lead Endesa’s commitment to the energy transition, the development of renewable energies, the promotion of sustainable mobility, digitalization and improving the provision of services to customers, among other challenges and commitments in the energy sector. For Sánchez Durán “our Strategic Plan will be the key to the regeneration of the social fabric and the economic acceleration in the territory. At Endesa we have been working for months on action plans based on the Energy Transition and Digitalization as fundamental pieces to get out of the crisis.”
Rafael Sánchez Durán has 25 years of experience in the energy sector and 5 years in the telecommunications sector.
