In the context of the European ITN network eLADDA (Early Language Development in the Digital Age – https://www.ntnu.edu/e-ladda) we are offering two 3-year contracts to complete a PhD at the Univesidad de Sevilla. We encourage applicants from a wide range of fields, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Linguistics, and Education. The two specific projects at the Universidad de Sevilla are:

ESR8: Language acquisition and robot-assisted early childhood intervention in autism
Required skills: Recommended skills are knowledge of Spanish, training in experimental research, knowledge of eye-tracking research, experience with children with autism or other developmental disorders.

ESR10: Using text-message to teach vocabulary to deaf people: A way to improve reading comprehension (USE)
Required skills: recommended knowledge of Spanish, experience in experimental psychological or linguistic research, experience in deafness research and/or intervention.
