Activities > Workshop organized by the network
The aim of these workshops, as part of the activities proposed by the Network Complex Variables, Spaces of Functions and Operators between them, is to connect with Master students in Mathematics and related areas, and make them discover some topics of the different areas of research carried out in the Network.
The structure of these workshops is the following: there is some courses of 4 hours each. Each student is asked to attend the first session of all courses, and works thoroughly one of them in order to make a presentation at the end of the week. In such a presentation, the student lectures about the topic assigned by a tutor.
It is also a good oportunity for the selected students to interact with senior researchers.
The first one was celebrated in Málaga in 2016:
"Worskhop on Complex Analysis and Operator Theory". June 19-24 2016. Málaga, Spain.
The second one will be celebrated the next spring, beginning on May, 26 and ending on May, 30 in the catalan city of Blanes (Gerona). Spain:
"Spaces of functions and operators between them". Blanes (Gerona). Spain.
This workshop is organized by the node of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and it is specially adressed to graduate students (and eventually to last year bachelor students) interested in Function Theory.
The structure of the workshop is the following: four courses delivered by network researchers, training activities under the supervision of these researchers and a cicle of short talks.
Organizers: Juan J. Donaire, José G. Llorente, Artur Nicolau (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
