The meeting headquarters are at the campus of the UNIA , a few steps from La Rábida Monastery and about 9 kilometers from the city of Huelva (Spain). The two closest airports are in Sevilla (Spain) and Faro (Portugal), at about 115 Km and 132 Km respectively. If you cannot pick up the bus of the organization the easiest way to reach La Rábida is to take the bus Sevilla-Huelva (see below) and then Huelva-La Rábida (see below).

Coming by bus:

  • Buses from Sevilla (Plaza de Armas bus station)  to Huelva (bus main station): DAMAS (you can check the timetable). The trip lasts 1h and 15 minutes. The deck at Sevilla bus station uses to be the number 13.
  • To reach La Rábida, you should take moreover a bus at Huelva bus station in direction to Palos de Frontera or Moguer and to get out at the stop "La Rábida". The trip lasts 15 minutes and you pay on board in cash. This is the bus route. Important: DO NOT get off at the stop of  "La Rábida" campus of the University of Huelva, in case the bus stops (is also called La Rábida!!, do not get confused )
  • Once at the bus stop "La Rábida", follow this path.

Coming by train:

Notice that there are only few trains connecting Huelva and Seville and Huelva and Madrid.

  • Take the train fron Sevilla Santa Justa to Huelva train station (last stop).
  • Take the local bus from the train station to the bus station. You can take lines 1, 5, 7, 7H. You should get off the bus at "Zafra". Main bus station will be in fronf of you. You can buy tickets on board paying in cash. For more information click here.
  • Follow the instruction shown above fro reaching La Rábida.

Of course you can also take a taxi from train of bus stations to La Rábida. The cost should be around 15-20 €. Indicate to the driver "Campus de La UNIA en La Rábida"

By taxi: you can take a taxi right in front of Bus station main entrance. You should tell the driver that destination is La Rabida-UNIA. The cost is about 15-20 euros.
